Maidstone Borough Conservative Councillors working hard for you

We are a group of 25 Conservative Borough councillors who represent wards across Maidstone.  We represent a diverse group of people with our youngest councillor being just 21 years old.  We have a wide range of experience with councillors coming from a range of backgrounds including; farmers, business owners, teachers, authors and even a retired airline pilot.

in 2021, our group took control of the running of Maidstone Borough Council and have already acted to implement our bold new initiatives including; moving to four yearly elections, starting the procurement process for providing 1,000 affordable houses for local people (these are provided within the targets that are set by national government and are not extra), starting work on a town centre strategy, further resourcing the planning enforcement team and working hard to bring forward new more stringent planning policy.

We are united as a team by our Conservative values of providing opportunity for all, hard work and fairness but we are very much a local team trying to work hard for the residents of Maidstone.  We are always looking for future team members and helpers, so if you are interested and you feel like you want to be part of the team please get in touch.
