After just over a year the veterans hub which was previously refused has finally got planning permission
The relocation of the existing hub will mean that there are bigger and better disabled facilities to support what is currently 61 veterans
The hub will offer mental health support for those suffering PTSD but also an opportunity for veterans to re-skill and gain an NVQ qualification
As armed forces champion it has been my pleasure to finally get this facility off the ground - it will be fulfilling an identified need not just for the borough but for the county . The project has faced many hurdles and difficulties but I’m really proud to have got it over this final one . Hopefully plain sailing from now on !
