Severe water shortages were experienced in Staplehurst over the Christmas period. Our MP Helen Grant organised a meeting with South East Water to address this serious situation and to agree action points. Cllr John Perry; Cllr Louise Brice and Cllr Lottie Parfitt-Reid attended the meeting together with Cllr Paddy Riordan, Chairman of Staplehurst Parish Council. The meeting took place on the 7th of February. A further meeting is planned for six months time in order to review progress regarding the agreed action points.
