The local Conservative group have gained the remaining seat in the Coxheath and Hunton ward and we are proud to say that this now makes this a three member Conservative ward.

The seat was gained by one of our youngest candidates who is now looking forward to working hard for his residents.  He is hugely honoured that the residents of Coxheath and Hunton have put their faith in him for this next election term.  He feels that there is often a lack of young voices being heard, and there is often criticism of young people not being engaged in local politics or issues.  He sees this as a really good opportunity to learn about local government and also to give back to his community.

James works as a sports coach so his passion is teaching children about being fit and active but most importantly working together as part of a team and this is something he hopes to be able to bring to the table in Maidstone council.  James is a big believer in having a positive attitude and always encouraging people to do and be their best rather than criticizing and putting people down, so he hopes to become a positive voice within Maidstone Borough Council.

He's very excited to see what the next year will bring!
