Lottie grew up in North Yorkshire but moved to London in her early 20s. She worked as a mortgage broker and subsequently in property in Fulham. Lottie has worked in her family telecoms business and as a TA before she finally escaped the big smoke for beautiful Kent. She now lives in Marden with her 2 teenage boys and one Hungarian vizsla.
Lottie was elected to Maidstone Borough Council in 2018 to represent Coxheath and Hunton and due to the boundary changes was re-elected in May 2024 to represent Coxheath and Farleigh. Lottie says, "It has been an absolute privilege to serve as the Borough Cllr for Coxheath and Hunton for the past 4 years and to be involved in campaigns fighting against housing and for local infrastructure, as well as serving the community through the pandemic from launching a groceries and prescription collection service, to organising a community afternoon tea."
Lottie is the Conservative County Councillor for the division of Maidstone Rural South, elected in May 2021 and was re-elected to be a Maidstone Borough Councillor for a second term in May 2022.
